Hi, I'm Demi.
Welcome - I'm so glad you are here.Â
For 30 years I lived what you're going through — and I found a way out.Â
It all started when I realized my ongoing quest to pinpoint the exact food causing my IBS to flare was only sending me to anxietyville.
All my life I've struggled with persistent digestive symptoms, obsessive thinking, anxiety, and indecision. My mom says I had tummy issues as an infant. As a kid, I remember chronic constipation, stomach aches, and a lot of bathroom anxiety. It got worse as a teenager — I'd go days without a bowel movement, my bloating made me look pregnant, and I felt miserable.
Underneath it, I was also navigating body image issues, disordered eating, and overexercising. I was always doing, doing, doing — stressed out to the point of developing shingles. Anxiety and depression were everyday hurdles. Even ordering at a restaurant could turn into an anxiety-induced moment.
At sixteen, working at a food co-op, I discovered the connection between food quality and how my body felt. That sent me into the world of nutritional therapy — I dove deep for the next twelve years.
But I noticed something frustrating: no matter how clean I ate, no matter how many high-quality supplements I took, my symptoms kept creeping back. Bloating, gas, incomplete bowel movements, anxiety, overwhelm.
I had tried elimination diets, cleanses, low-FODMAP, AIP, GAPS, candida protocols, low-carb, every supplement stack imaginable, stool tests, and worked with naturopaths, holistic practitioners, bodyworkers. Some of it sort of helped. Yet I kept experiencing constipation, bloating, stomach pain and an increasingly shorter list of foods I could eat.Â
The missing piece was in my nervous system. My system was stuck in fight-or-flight, and while I was dysregulated, nothing else could fully work. Once I understood that, I finally understood why these symptoms developed in childhood — and why they'd followed me into adulthood.
That realization changed everything. And it's why I built the framework I use with clients today — because nothing else was treating the whole picture. Once the nervous system piece was addressed, everything else I'd already learned finally started working.

AS PETER LEVINE SAYS ABOUT HEALING,
“Nobody can do it for you...
but you can’t do it alone."
We're each in charge of our own healing, but we need others to hold space, co-regulate, and help us see what we can't see alone. We need to be seen, heard, and witnessed in our process.
I'm here to help you do just that.
